What an exciting proposal for Wynnum.
A development application proposing to expand Wynnum Plaza to accommodate a mix of uses including residential apartments, a shopping centre, and cinema, has been lodged by its owner, the Shayher Group.
The proposed redevelopment, designed by ZENX Architects, involves the subdivision of Wynnum Plaza into four distinct precincts: Central (Precinct 1), North-West (Precinct 2), North-East (Precinct 3), and South-West (Precinct 4). It is proposed that the project be delivered in six stages, allowing the shopping centre to continue operating throughout the construction.
