Our Community

We live in a wonderful community that is home to a diverse range of businesses and skilled tradesmen and women.

Being a local Real Estate Agency, we have come across many local businesses that offer great services. By supporting local business through referrals, we can continue to build our vibrant local community.

Located about 20km and 30 minutes’ drive by car or rail from Brisbane’s CBD on Moreton Bay, is Wynnum Manly which has been rediscovered by residents who want to live near the ocean.

Being the city’s closest point to the vibrant attractions of Moreton Bay, the foreshore and village areas are filled with restaurants and cafés, places of historical interest and of course a very sustainable and vibrant business centre, with access to all the major supermarket and retail chains. Wynnum Manly offers medical and dental services with the Hospital located in Whites Road.

There are a number of public and private schools, with the closest TAFE located at Alexandra Hills about 10 minutes away. There is a School of the Arts and municipal hall, where local activities are held, and exceptional rail and bus services support the community.

The completion of the seawater wading pool has provided a wonderland for parents and children to gather over a week end. Walking, running, bike riding and rollerblading are just a few of the activities which are available to the residents and visitors to the area. Not to mention the fabulous array of water sports right at your doorstep!

Over 50 per cent of houses accommodate families, retirees and older residents, who make up the majority of the population, with a wide cross section attracted to the extensive re development around the waterfront precinct and the brilliant street scaping around the Wynnum and Manly areas.

With very little land left in close proximity to the waterfront, homebuyers wanting the bayside lifestyle are renovating older homes and cottages.

The Wynnum/Manly area is well serviced by commercial and retail precincts, which continue to thrive as the area gains in popularity.
